I’ve made enemies on DQ – Sambhavna

Bigg Boss has been very lucky for Sambhavana Seth because just after leaving the reality show, she was flooded with several offers – Dancing Queen (Colors) being one of them. And Sambhavana has done well, she has proved herself as a mentor and has gone on to win the dance reality show along with her aspirant partner Shamaayal. She speaks to us about her victory.

What does this victory mean to you?
To both Shamaayal and me, it means a lot! I wanted to be a part of Dancing Queen as I have always been a good performer. I was confident that whatever happens, I will pukka reach the finals. Beyond that toh I couldn’t think because winning is in the Almighty’s and the publics hands.

What will you do with the prize money?
This money is my father’s and he will decide what to do with it. Its got nothing to do with money because after Big Boss, I’ve been earning quite a good amount. After winning this title, I am sure that I’ll get better work offers.

How has Shamaayal been as a student?
I’ll not deny that she was weak but, at the same time, she is very lucky for me. Shamaayal has brought me so much luck and now we are leaving with the trophy! As a student too, she has worked very hard and thats the reason we won.

There were rumours that Anita Hasnandani had a better chance of winning. How do you feel about those now?
Colors is known for its honesty and hence the votes which have come in are also a result of this. About Anita, I would like to say that when she got evicted, I was very upset, mainly because Sonali deserved to be in the finals. I cried a lot when she was eliminated.

You are known as the Controversy Queen, what would you like to say about this?
As I said, I know what I am! I react instantly to anything that happens. Thats because I think from the heart. Its nothing like ki I like to create controversy, it just happens.

You are already a good dancer, why would you sign a dance reality show?
I wanted to prove myself. More than that, I wanted to dance wholeheartedly. Even on the show, Ive not been able to show my 100% because, as the judges kept saying, I had to match my energy level with that of Shamaayals. So I’ve still to show 50% of my skills.

How many friends have you made on Dancing Queen?
Friends? I’ve made enemies! The only friend I made was Shabbir Ahluwalia.

In between, you had a problem with Deepshikha, tell us about it?
I have nothing personal against her. Something happened which made me lose my temper and I lashed out at her. But after that, everything was fine. It’s all a part of the game. It was all sorted out later. I know she is a nice lady.

Does this mean that you are friends with her?
No baba! We dont even talk to each other!

Tell us about your most memorable moment on Dancing Queen?
It has to be the Gabbar episode, without a doubt. I was dressed as Gabbar Singh and Hemaji made me cry by saying that she was extremely hurt by the act. Later, when she said that it was a joke, I literally fainted and fell on Shabbir!

What is the first thing you’ll do once you get back home?
I’ll go to Vaishno Devi. Then I will spend time with my family and enjoy myself.

What’s next in the pipeline?
I will take things as they come to me. I never decide on my work right from the start, offers just come and I am sure they’ll keep coming in the same way. It has been five months since I left the Bigg Boss house and I have had no time to enjoy myself or party till now. So I’ll do that first.
