Did you ever imagine that the chocolate boy Swapnil Joshi, best remembered as Krishna, could look like Rakhi Sawant, Mandira Bedi! Remember Kamal, (Ali Asgar) the lovable & charming devar of tellywood! He excelled himself playing Sohni of Sohni Mahiwali, Aamir Khan of Mangal Pandey…or even Urvashi Dholakia known as the ‘eternal vamp’ of small screen playing a housewife, or Om alias Kiran Karmarkar with his straight-face acts; Comedy Circus has managed to bring out the comic streak and break out the other side of these personalities.

Now, after 12 weeks of non-stop entertainment, Comedy Circus has reached its Finale with 2 jodis – Swapnil Joshi & VIP and Ali Asgar & Kashif Khan, battling for the coveted trophy of Comedy Circus this September 8 at 9.30 p.m. only on Sony Entertainment Television.

Laugh out Loud at the Finale

Comedy Circus finale promises to be one laughter riot! The grande finale will be filled with special performances with all 5 jodis – Urvashi Dholakia – Shakeel, Varun Badola – Deepak Dutta, Karishma Tanna – Khayali, Kiran Karmarkar – Sunil Sawara, Pratap Fauzdar and the 2 finalists – Swapnil Joshi – VIP, Ali Asgar – Kashif Khan taking comedy to a different level.

Film and television celebrities like Tusshar Kapoor, Kunal Khemu, Shakti Kapoor and Shivaji Sattam will join the circus as special guests on the show. Adding loads of laughter to the fun are our three witty judges Satish Shah, Archana Puran Singh and Johnny Lever who complete the circle of comedy with their witty one-liners. The winning jodi will be presented with the Comedy Circus Trophy, prize money of Rs 20 lacs and a one-year contract with Sony Entertainment Television.

Comedy Circus Lage Raho: 6 fresh new episodes

Last but not the least, the Shutter…yet not down, after the Grand Finale…! For Comedy Circus lovers, here’s presenting a fresh new series of 6 episodes of all new stand-up performances. Comedy Circus Lage Raho will have a new jodi introduced in every episode along with the original Comedy Circus jodis so far; the difference being the jodis will be shuffled to make an interesting mix! The show will not have any scoring or eliminations but just pure comedy with innovative stand-up acts and themes in every episode promising to entertain the viewer week on week! Comedy Circus Lage Raho starts from September 15 – October 20 at 9.30 p.m. on Sony Entertainment Television.
