Aman VermaAfter playing the bad boy Rishabh Lamba in Ravi Chopra’s Viraasat, Aman Verma has bagged a plum role Chopra’s upcoming movie tentatively titled Pappu Paas Ho Gaya.
It seems that Ravi Chopra is very fond of Aman Verma. The actor, who had plum roles in Ravi Chopra’s multi-starrer Baghban and the recent Babul, has bagged a meaty role once again in Chopra’s upcoming movie tentatively titled Pappu Paas Ho Gaya.
Ravi Chopra’s Viraasat has just gone off air. Chopra was so impressed with Aman’s portrayal of Rishabh Lamba in the show that he offered him the role as soon as the serial went off air.
Unlike Babul and Baghban which were strong family melodrama, Pappu Paas Ho Gaya is promised to be a comic caper. The film revolves around a lawyer who fails for six years in Law School and ends up getting a murder mystery to solve. The actor is part of the laugh riot which also stars Govinda, Lara Dutta, Boman Irani.
Says producer Ravi Chopra, “Everything is getting finalised now. I like to take actors with whom I am comfortable. We have a reasonable role for Aman in Pappu Paas Ho Gaya.”
Known to be a serious actor this will be the Aman’s first brush with comedy. He plays a young guy who becomes a part of the funny circumstances and the murder mystery in the film.
The film will go on the floors by the end of August and will be ready for release by the end of this year.
However, Aman is cautious about what he says, “I am soon going to have a meeting with him about the film so I can’t reveal much about the role yet. Working with Ravi Chopra has been great as he is more like a family member for me. He has been a guiding force who has been with me through my good and bad times alike.”
