Poonam Joshi to play Rishika in Bhabhi!

Monsoon and the persistent Rains have caught up now for sure, but in Television World, it is raining ‘Entry and Exit’ of Actors. Following the trend now is Bhabhi, where Poonam Joshi plays the new Rishika. Rishika is now at crossroads as she is married to Samar, but her family does not know this fact. They are getting her married to another guy and it is her Bhabhi Suhaana who stands as Rishika’s support system.

Poonam Joshi who essayed the role of a simple, innocent girl Mehek in Balaji’s show Kahiin To Hoga & made her way into many hearts with her splendid performance as a possessive lover Sanjana in Woh Rehne Wali Mehlon Ki, is coming back to the small screen once again. We caught up with Poonam who is very excited about her new role & quizzed her.

Poonam confirms, “I have already started shooting for Bhabhi. My entry will happen this week, probably Wednesday. Rishika played by me is going thro tough times as she is married to Samar, but her family is getting her married to someone else. Its been just a week into shooting with this team and it is really nice working here. As of now, the Roka ceremony of Rishika has happened and the plot will now focus on the interim things that will happen before the marriage.” On asked why she opted to play this role, Poonam quickly said, “In Who Rehne Wali Mehlon Ki, I played a negative character. Now I am very glad to play Rishika who is very positive. She has been mislead in her life and has made few wrong decisions. But she is now very determined to fix her mistakes and move ahead in life, with her Bhabhi Suhaana’s help.”

No doubt that Suhana is a ‘Pillar of Strength’ for Rishika, but the million dollar question is, will Dev-Suhaana Jodi be intact with the entry of Samar? Will Suhaana lose the trust of Dev in the process of saving Rishika’s life? Keep watching your favourite afternoon soap Bhabhi for all the answers…
