Saagar to turn normal in Banoo Main…

Banoo Main Teri Dulhann’s latest twist will see Saagar (played by Sharad Malhotra) recover from his mentally retarded state and get back to leading a normal life.

“After playing a childish Saagar for 11 months, I am a bit apprehensive about playing a mature character. I just hope everyone especially kids love me in my new avatar. But I am definitely going to miss playing the old Saagar. In fact, I have told the producer to give my cap, which I used to wear since I won’t be wearing it anymore,” reveals Saagar.

“It will be difficult for me to behave normally because I have really got into the skin of Saagar’s mentally retarded character,” feels Saagar.

We spoke to his co-actors to find out if they will miss the childish Saagar.

Divyanka Tripathi (Vidya) definitely will. “Even on the sets he used to behave like his character on screen and we really had loads of masti. He was very sweet in that role. I will miss his claps, cap and overall his childish behaviour.”

His on-screen sister Sindoora (Kamya Punjabi), who plays a vamp, adds, “Every co-actor is going to miss the mentally-retarded Saagar. I became a little emotional when I saw the last scene when his operation was going to happen. He was in the same childlike mood. It will definitely be harder for Sindoora to convince a serious Saagar.”

Top 5 things Sharad’s co-actors will miss about Saagar
